A Dedicated Technologist Rooted in Hopi Culture
With over two decades of experience in the IT field, Wayne continues to hone his skills in supervisory, administrative, operations and construction advisory roles. Beyond his technical expertise, Wayne strives to build a strong working knowledge of education, healthcare, and tribal governance. This diverse experience allows him to cultivate strong relationships with individuals and organizations acrossNative communities.
While he is just getting started as HTI’s new GM, he isconfident in his ability to contribute significantly to HTI. His proud and deep connection to Hopi should serve him well, going into new projects ranging from fiber upgrades and new build-outs, to offering new high speed Broadband services and expanding on HTI’s role as an essential utility, helping to bridge economic, educational and social gaps. He is eager to build on the success Carroll Onsae started for HTI and looks forward to contributing to HTI's continued success in providing exceptional telecommunications to the Hopi People.
Prior to HTI, Wayne worked for the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community and most recently aided on the IT front to bring River People Health Center online and migrate to a new electronic health record platform.
