Chief Technology Officer, Buckeye Broadband
Tommy serves as Chief Technology Officer at Buckeye Broadband, where he leads Engineering and Technical Operations across Video Services, Outside Plant Design, IP Operations, Construction, Research & Development, and the Network Operations Center (NOC). He is responsible for driving the strategic direction, performance, and scalability of the company’s network infrastructure and service delivery platforms.
With more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Tommy brings extensive expertise in both rural and metropolitan network design, engineering operations, and broadband infrastructure development. His background spans the end-to-end lifecycle, from architecture and deployment to optimization and operational excellence.
Throughout his career, Tommy has led large-scale fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and HFC deployments, overseen advanced voice and video service platforms, and managed capital investment strategies aligned with long-term growth objectives. His leadership has consistently strengthened network reliability, improved operational efficiency, and accelerated innovation initiatives.
Prior to joining Buckeye Broadband, Tommy held senior leadership roles at MaxxSouth Broadband, MetroCast, and Charter Communications, where he directed multi-market engineering programs and executed complex infrastructure initiatives at scale.
