With over 25 years of pioneering experience in network engineering and operations, Aaron Weimer has established himself as a high-impact leader and catalyst for change. His career spans progressive leadership roles in Engineering and Operations at Comcast, culminating in his current position as CTO and Co-Founder of Wiring the Future Networks.
At Wiring the Future Networks, Aaron’s mission is to close the digital divide in rural America. He and his team partner with operators to deploy broadband networks using cutting-edge yet cost-effective technologies that maximize reach, efficiency, and reliability. His solutions are deliberately community-centric tailored to the unique geography, economics, and needs of each region. Ensuring that reliable, high-speed internet becomes a reality for the communities that need it most.
Aaron’s commitment to excellence is evidenced by advanced executive training from Harvard Business School and Dale Carnegie, as well as ongoing studies in network engineering and emerging technologies. He has been recognized by the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) for elevating service standards, driving infrastructure innovation, and transforming operational culture across the media and telecommunications sector.
A recognized thought leader, Aaron is deeply committed to mentorship, leadership development, and shaping industry standards. Currently serving as Chair of the SCTE/CableLabs Standards Subcommittee on Network Reliability, and Member of the Fiber Broadband Association technology committee. In 2026 he will share his expertise as a speaker at the Fiber Broadband Association’s flagship Fiber Connect conference, further advancing best practices in fiber deployment and rural connectivity.
Aaron continues to serve as a board member, technology advisor, and active participant in corporate and community initiatives that drive the future of telecommunications.
