Michael D. Soileau became the Director of LFT Fiber, the only 100% fiber to the home telecommunications provider in Louisiana, in May 2024. He brings over 20 years of broadband experience back to his home state. LFT Fiber currently provides state-of-the-art telecommunications services to homes and businesses in Lafayette, Acadia, Iberia, Evangeline, and Vermilion, St. Landry, and Jeff Davis parishes.
Prior to this role, Michael served as the CEO of O3 World in 2023, guiding the company through its next growth phase. Before that, he was Vice President of Strategy and Planning for Xfinity Consumer Services at Comcast, where he developed and implemented plans for new products and market strategies across all U.S. markets. As Senior Vice President at Innovative Communications, he oversaw customer and employee experience, sales, marketing, government affairs, and public relations across the United States and the British Virgin Islands.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from Louisiana State University. Currently, he serves as a Commissioner of the Lafayette Economic Authority, Expert in Residence at Toffler and Associates in Washington D.C., a founding steering committee member of the Lafayette Regional Technology council, Vice Chair of the Community College of Philadelphia, and an advisory member of the Environmental Collaboratory at Drexel University. His previous board roles include the National Adoption Center, the Humane Society of St. Thomas, and Out and Equal Philadelphia. Additionally, Michael is a founding member of the Executive Council Network.
