Ian Clark is the Director of Product Management at Beep, where he leads product strategy and delivery for the company's autonomous mobility software portfolio, including the AutonomOS platform and AI-driven computer vision solutions that support the safe deployment, operation, and scaling of autonomous transit services in real-world environments.
At Beep, Ian works closely with engineering, operations, ADS providers, OEMs, infrastructure partners, and public-sector agencies to translate complex fleet-level needs into production-ready software. He served as the central product and delivery lead for the nation's first large-scale autonomous shuttle transit deployment, coordinating cross-functional teams to bring autonomous vehicles into live public transportation service. His work leverages AI, computer vision, and operational data from live deployments to improve system performance, rider experience, safety, and operational readiness.
Ian is a frequent speaker on the operational realities of autonomous mobility, with a focus on AV safety, keeping humans in the loop, and the unique challenges of operating AVs in public transit environments. He has presented at the Transportation Research Board (TRB), MOVE America, the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), and the University of Central Florida.
With over a decade of experience across product management, mobility technology, AI, and enterprise software, Ian has led product initiatives spanning logistics, robotics, fleet technology, and AI platforms. He is known for aligning cross-functional stakeholders and bridging technical and operational domains to deliver complex, safety-critical systems into production.
Ian earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida.
