Jade Piros de Carvalho heads up market expansion efforts for Socket Fiber, an ISP based in Missouri, and government affairs for Ideatek Telcom, a Kansas-based ISP. She previously served as director of the Kansas Office of Broadband Development, where she built the office and oversaw the administration of $650M in federal and state grant programs to connect all Kansans with high-speed internet. Additionally, Piros de Carvalho served three terms as Mayor for the city of Hutchinson, Kansas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in public policy.
