Ryan Elswick is the CEO & Co-Founder of FiberWise, where he leads the development of resilient, carrier-grade fiber infrastructure designed to strengthen communities and support long-term economic growth. FiberWise partners with municipalities, utilities, data center operators, and private capital to plan, structure, and deploy scalable middle-mile and last-mile networks that attract investment, enable business expansion, and deliver future-ready connectivity.

With more than two decades of experience in broadband, Ryan has worked across every phase of network deployment—from capital formation and public-private structuring to engineering oversight, construction execution, and customer growth strategy. He previously co-founded Sunset Digital Communications, a successful fiber-to-the-home provider serving rural communities in Appalachia, where he helped demonstrate that high-performance networks can thrive in challenging and underserved markets.

Ryan brings a disciplined, execution-focused approach to broadband development, grounded in real-world experience and a deep understanding of how infrastructure, capital, and community alignment must work together for long-term success.
