Kimberly Maki is a CEO and strategic growth executive known for helping organizations scale, reposition, and lead through industry transformation. She works with boards, CEOs, and executive teams across broadband, connectivity, and infrastructure to drive revenue growth, strengthen market positioning, and build platforms for long-term impact. As Founder and CEO of Influential Voices, Kimberly operates as a fractional Chief Growth and Strategy Officer, partnering with organizations navigating inflection points from expansion and repositioning to industry convergence. Her work spans strategic planning, brand and market development, partnerships, and revenue acceleration.
Prior to founding Influential Voices, Kimberly held senior executive roles across corporate and association environments, including serving as chief communications executive for Bright House Networks, a multibillion-dollar telecommunications operator, and as chief executive of Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), a global technology association. She has built and led large-scale industry platforms, including transforming and scaling flagship events serving more than 10,000 industry leaders, delivering significant attendance and revenue growth.
Kimberly brings a unique operator’s perspective that bridges corporate scale, industry ecosystems, and emerging platform opportunities. Her work increasingly focuses on the intersection of broadband, energy, AI, and infrastructure and how these systems converge to shape economic growth and human potential. She is an active contributor to industry thought leadership, including serving as an editorial advisor and author for Broadband Library, and advising on strategic initiatives that advance the connectivity ecosystem.
In addition to her executive and advisory work, Kimberly develops leadership platforms and programs designed to help executives expand their visibility, influence, and long-term value creation.
