Kalai is a telecom veteran with over 30 years of experience. Kalai has founded numerous telecom companies and successfully exited many. Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, he was Vice President of Nortel Networks. PomeGran is his next big venture. PomeGran is a leading Rural Broadband operator in Canada, currently owning over 4500 Km of fiber. Under his leadership, PomeGran has been recognized as the Fastest growing Telecom services company in 2025, by Globe & Mail. Kalai holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and has published three well-referenced telecom books.
