Liz is Editor-in-Chief of the award-winning Fierce Network, recognized by the 2024 and 2025 Eddie and Ozzie awards for editorial excellence in onsite event coverage, news coverage, series of articles and outstanding work by a single author. Previously, she was the managing editor for Silverlinings. She made her debut on the telecom stage back when writing 3,000 word articles about Class 5 switches was still a thing. She honed her skills at Telephony Magazine before moving on to The Net Economy, Light Reading, America’s Network and SDxCentral with stints in PR at TM Forum and editing for a crypto-focused pub called Blockworks. She is also published in McSweeney’s Internet Tendency.
