Mik is a technologist who turns emerging ideas into scalable reality. As SVP of Technology Innovation at Plume, he leads the charge in identifying and incubating high-impact opportunities across the company's technology stack, partnering with product, engineering, sales, and data teams to keep Plume pushing the envelope of what's next in smart connectivity services.
Mik brings more than a decade of experience building and scaling innovation teams across government and startup environments. At NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, he led the Internet of Things portfolio within the Technology Evaluation and Infusion Team, prototyping forward-looking systems that fused AI, data science, and sensor networks. As CTO of Ubiety Technologies, he rose from founding engineer to chief technologist, shepherding the company's novel presence detection platform from whiteboard concept to commercial deployment.
His expertise spans AI, IoT, cloud computing, high-velocity streaming data, and applied machine learning—a rare combination of startup grit and enterprise-scale execution. He has also collaborated with leading cloud providers to shape emerging technologies into production-ready services.
At Plume, Mik is helping harness one of the world's largest connected device datasets and a continuously adapting real-time AI engine to unlock new growth for global ISP partners through data-driven insights, proactive issue resolution, and personalized services at scale.
